Great Smoky Mountains

The Great Smoky Mountains national park is an incredible area of the appalachian mountains in Tennessee and North Carolina. Receiving the second most rainfall of any area in the united states the smokies support a vast range of amazing wildlife. The Great Smoky Mountains offers hiking, scenic mountains, fishing and more that will keep any traveler entertained. Some of the smokies top attractions include the appalachian trail, Cades Cove, Clingmans dome and many others.

At 9 million visitors a year the Great Smoky Mountains national park receives twice the visitors of any other park and for a good reason. Located in East Tennessee and North Carolina this park preserves a special area of the appalachian mountains home to a very diverse ecosystem and beautiful scenery. 2. Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon national park features many trails, scenic drives, and lookouts that will amaze even the veteran traveler. Ninety percent of the visitors see the south rim so traveling to the north rim first can give you some space to enjoy this captivating landscape.

At Acadia national park, located in Maine, the appalachian mountains meet the ocean and create a beautiful park featuring countless hiking trails and steep climbs up rocky cliffs.














10. Cuyahoga Valley
